Design Collaboration

Shakerato

BOBO Shakerato is designed in collaboration with Stefano Agostino and inspired by a vintage glass from the archives of Camparino in Galleria in Milan, Italy.

Each glass is mouth-blown in lead-free crystal, holds approximately 12cl and stands just over 12cm tall. The glass has a robust design with fine rim (0.9-1.4mm) and sturdy stem to withstand outdoor use and to stay cool for longer after being chilled.

It is suitable for stiff drinks and various smaller shaken serves, but its signature will always be the Campari Shakerato.

Design Collaboration

Oak & Steel

A straightforward concept to an otherwise complicated wine glass market. Collaborating with Swedish chef/sommelier Sebastian Gibrand and sommelier Niklas Ödman, BOBO’s latest glassware pair reflects its commitment to enhance the drink experience, not distract from it.

"We’ve been trained to serve different glasses for every wine type," says sommelier Niklas Ödman. "We wanted to strip away the complexity while maintaining an exceptional wine experience."

Sebastian earned a silver medal in the 2019 Bocuse d'Or and prepared the 2019 Nobel Prize dinner. He has recently completed his sommelier studies and now serves as Culinary Director for Bocuse-Team USA.

Niklas, the head sommelier at Ett Hem, began his wine career at Grythyttan in 2005 and has since worked at several of Sweden's most prestigious restaurants, including Operakällaren.

Design Collaboration

Boobette

The glass has been created in collaboration with the bartender and designer Mathin Lundgren, known from, Nyhetsmorgon, his book "Barmästarens Manual" and bars such as Kåken and Teatergrillen.

"For many years I have been searching for the perfect cocktail glass without really finding it. When I instead found BOBO, the idea of a collaboration came to life.

The idea was to create a glass that is both beautiful and pleasant to drink from and, not least, has a good volume for both stirred and shaken drinks. The proportions between the glass opening, cup and foot have been as important as the feel of the glass in both hand and mouth."

The result is an elegant and sleek coupette glass named Boobette, visit page here.

Design Collaboration

Drajja

The glass has been created in collaboration with the dynamic bartender duo, Erik Andersson and Emil Åreng, both based in Umeå at Facit bar.

"Erik got the brilliant idea when looking a snaps glass - “A snaps glass, a classic snaps glass is around 4-6cl… what if you just make it bigger so you to fit 12cl? Well, then we get an amazing Swedish Drajja or /ˈdrɑjːa/", so that's what we did."

Drajja is an homage to the Swedish Nubbe inspired by BOBO's Nubbe glass, visit page here.

The result? The best Dry Martini glass in the world... visit page here to read more.
